"Health Check-up Camp"
Various diseases in the village affect people's lives. Due to poverty, good treatment is not possible. Therefore, a health check-up camp is organized in the village once every six months. A team of government doctors from the block comes to examine and distribute medicines. This provides health benefits to the villagers. In the year 2019, treatment was given to 1850 patients under the selected 10 model villages."

"Animal Vaccination"
Livestock rearing is a very good means of livelihood for the village. 80% of the village's population sustains their livelihood through it. The Surya Foundation collects information about diseases that can affect the village's animals. Then, the officials of the Animal Health Department are called to the village to carry out vaccination and treatment of the animals. In the year 2019, treatment was given to 1200 animals in 400 villages."

International Yoga Day
Yoga is an ancient heritage of India that keeps the mind-body-soul healthy. It is the balance of these three that is yoga. The great work of spreading the knowledge and benefits of this ancient heritage throughout the world is being led by our Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi. This work has been continuously carried out by the Surya Foundation in villages since 2015. In the year 2020, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, 3 lakh villagers practiced yoga with their families at home. The theme of this year was "Adopt Yoga, Boost Immunity".
